Senior Vice President
Gordon P. Knuth is a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor at Baird. Prior to joining the firm, Gordon has been practicing as a Financial Advisor, focusing on the financial needs of small businesses and wealthy individual clients since 1984.
Gordon consults with the team’s clients on developing investment plans, manager due diligence and evaluating and monitoring performance. He also helps focus on ever changing Government, Trust and ERISA guidelines.
As a lifelong Wisconsin resident and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate, Gordon continues to maintain ties to the Milwaukee area community by participating in a variety of charitable organizations, church activities, and networking groups for professionals. Gordon is also an avid follower of amateur sports and has been registered with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) as a basketball and football official, since 1975 - Master Classification; at both the collegiate and high school varsity levels. Additionally, he is a member of NASO (National Association of Sports Officials). Over the years, Gordon has officiated a combined nine state tournaments and continues to work towards his next tournament appearance.
Nicholas August, CFP®
Nicholas J. August, CFP® is a Financial Advisor with Baird. Prior to joining the firm, Nick has been providing financial advice to clients since 2013. He also worked for a non-profit organization upon graduating from Marquette University, where he majored in Business and Politics.
Nick strives to help clients meet their financial goals by educating on basic investing fundamentals, developing holistic financial plans, and maintaining consistent client communication and review. Nick enjoys helping clients understand the basic principles by which the team bases its investment strategy and client relationship behind.
Nick works closely with clients to comprehend and prepare for major life events such as retirement, college planning, wealth accumulation strategies and generational wealth transfer. His primary role is to understand every client’s unique financial goals and situation in order to implement the best possible solution while considering all risk and suitability standards.
Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Nick now lives in Shorewood with his wife, Lisa. Nick maintains close ties with Marquette Alumni Associations, downtown Milwaukee charitable organizations and groups, and volunteers for his collegiate fraternal order.
Lisa M. Gorodenski is a Financial Advisor at Baird and has over five years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa has been providing financial advice to clients since 2013.
Lisa conducts financial planning and analysis for the team’s clients. She strongly believes that clients’ needs and objectives should always come first in any investment plan. Her goal is to first understand the client’s wishes, then educate them on their investment options to provide a higher degree of confidence no matter what strategy they ultimately decide to pursue.
Lisa graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Business Administration. Outside of work, Lisa volunteers and gives back to the Humane Society as well as local environmental organizations and women’s organizations. She and her husband, Nick, live in Shorewood. She enjoys cooking, health & nutrition, practicing yoga, traveling and continuous learning through books, documentaries and podcasts.
Ashley T. Redjinski is a Client Assistant with Baird. Previously, she worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and spent a year doing national service through AmeriCorps in Dane County. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in French and International Studies.
Ashley is committed to understanding and supporting client needs and providing exceptional assistance to the Thuli, Knuth, August, Gorodenski Group. She looks forward to helping clients reach their short and long-term goals and make the most of their financial resources.
When not at work, Ashley enjoys reading, traveling, yoga, and exploring her new neighborhood, Bay View. She recently completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program in Madison and looks forward to discovering the yoga scene in Milwaukee.
Sarah E. Boyer is a Client Assistant with Baird. Prior to joining Baird, Sarah worked as a senior associate in the audit practice at a “Big Four” accounting firm. Her time in this sector is where she developed her client-centric mentality. She is FINRA Series 7 and 66 licensed.
Sarah is committed to providing exceptional service and developing long-lasting relationships with clients. She enjoys meeting client needs, assisting the team with financial planning, and expanding her knowledge about the industry.
Sarah graduated from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with degrees in Accounting and Finance. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys exploring local breweries and restaurants with her husband and dog. She enjoys cheering on the Packers and spending quality time with friends and family.
