Andy has worked in the industry for over 30 years. His portfolio management experience provides valuable insights into portfolio strategy and asset allocation. His focus is on private wealth management of family offices, pensions and endowments.

Prior to co-founding Brinkman & Sonder, Andy was a managing partner of Petros Capital Management, a long/short institutional Hedge Fund. He has been a member of the International Money Market, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the New York Futures Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade. A 1978 graduate of Cornell College with degrees in Economics and Political Science, he is a current Cornell College trustee, previous board member for ChildHelp USA, co-founder of the Ronald Reagan Fellows Program/Goldwater Institute, and supporter of several local and national charities.

Prior to working with individual investors, Matt served as Director of Portfolio Strategy Initiatives for Merrill Lynch. After earning a CFA charter, he worked as Sector Analyst and Portfolio Manager for Bethlehem Steel Pension Trust. His expertise runs deep in portfolio management and investment selection. In addition to his credentials as a Chartered Financial Analyst, Sonder holds an undergraduate degree in information systems from McGill University, an MBA in finance from New York University, and a certificate in petroleum geology.

Ted started in the industry in 2003 working with foundations and endowments as a portfolio analyst for AllianceBernstein. Ted has trading experience and is very well versed in quantitative portfolio analysis. He also creates and maintains the financial models and tracking software for B&S. Ted is a graduate of Villanova University where he earned a B.S. in Economics and is also currently a Level II CFA Candidate.
