MY INVESTMENT PLANNING PROCESS 

My systematic investment plan process is centered around five steps and four meetings to help us design an investment plan that maximizes the probability of achieving all that is important to you:

Step 1: Discovery Meeting: Discussion of your financial goals, financial values and personal interests.

Step 2: Set long-term investment objectives.  Taking into account the long-term nature of successful investing, we set objectives for your portfolio that are appropriate for your attitude towards risk and investment horizon.

Step 3: Plan your asset allocation.  Asset allocation is a very important step to having your investment goals match your investments.  Through proper asset allocation, we will diversify your portfolio to help reduce risk.  Lower volatility from proper diversification helps to enhance returns and build greater wealth.

Step 4: Select the investment approach that is right for you.  With an asset allocation in place, we now select the investment vehicles that you will use to implement your portfolio strategy.  Changing markets may demand different investment approaches.  Two key investing principals guide these decisions: the importance of diversification and the value of remaining invested.

Step 5: Build your portfolio: Utilizing the first four steps, we construct an efficient portfolio suited to your needs, goals, investment horizon and risk attitude.  The building blocks being a portfolio of professionally managed investments in an asset allocation constructed for you utilizing modern portfolio theory.

The Result: The result of this process is a diagnostic report of your current situation with our recommendations for repositioning your portfolio.
