Dana Corbett and Sandy Gehler offer professional advice and service in the Baird tradition, which places the interest of clients first. Their goal is to provide quality customer service, evaluating the client’s investment needs and creating an asset allocation model that reflects the individual’s time horizon, risk profile and return expectations.


Dana Corbett, QPFC

A Senior Vice President with over 35 years of experience in the securities industry, Dana’s career has been distinguished by a broad foundation of knowledge and experience. He advises a wide variety of clients, helping both individuals and corporations with their financial needs.

Dana holds a bachelor’s degree from Buffalo State University College and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to entering the securities industry, Dana spent twelve years teaching and coaching in public education.

Dana is a member of Madison Downtown Rotary and sits on the Board of Directors for the Cap Times Kids Fund. He and his wife Sandy have two adult sons and live in Madison.

Dana has obtained the following professional designations:

Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC).

QPFC is the professional credential for experienced financial professionals who sell, advise, market or support qualified retirement plans. The QPFC program provides an understanding of retirement planning concepts, terminology, distinctive features of qualifed plans and the role of retirement plan professionals.

To obtain the QPFC designation, one must pass four exams. Once the credential has been successfully obtained, the designee is required to participate in extensive continuing education.

Sandy Gehler, CFP®, QPFC

Sandy joined Baird’s Madison-West office in 1994. Sandy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Sandy is a member of 100+ Women Who Care and the Women United of United Way of Dane County.

Sandy has obtained the following professional designations:

CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. CFP® certificants must pass the comprehensive CFP® Certification Examination, pass CFP Board's Candidate Fitness Standards, agree to abide by CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility which puts clients' interests first and comply with the Financial Planning Practice Standards which spell out what clients should be able to reasonably expect from the financial planning engagement.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirement.

Megan Mitby

Registered Client Specialist

Megan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She began her career with Baird in 2002. Throughout her career at Baird, Megan passed the Series 7, Series 66 and Series 9/10. She worked in the Oconomowoc branch for several years before moving to Madison, WI. She joined the Corbett Gehler Group as a Registered Client Relationship Associate in 2011.

Megan resides in Madison, WI with her husband Brock and her two children, Gage and Claire. In her downtime she loves spending time with her family and friends, watching her children participate in their activities, running and playing soccer.
