Jason Topi, CRPC®
Managing Director, Associate Branch Manager
Jason is a Managing Director and Financial Advisor with the Evans & Topi Retirement Advisors at Baird. He joined M. Griffith Investment Services in 2009 after serving with Merrill Lynch and HSBC Securities. Jason brings more than ten years' experience in financial services and higher education financial development to the team. Throughout his career, Jason has specialized in providing comprehensive financial solutions to successful professionals and small businesses.
Jason holds a BA from Hamilton College and has pursued graduate studies at the Whitman School of Business at Syracuse University. He is Series 7 & 66 registered, and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. He holds a Variable Life/Variable Annuities license as well as a Life, Accident & Health license. Jason provides fee-based Investment Management services, individual Retirement and Estate Planning services, and Life and Long Term Care Insurance.
Bettina is a Client Specialist with the Evans & Topi Retirement Advisors. She has a Bachelor’s of Professional Studies in Business & Public Management from SUNY Institute of Technology, and is securities registered with Series 7 and 63. Bettina joined the firm in 1996 after working in corporate administration for more than 12 years.
Bettina’s main focus is client customer service, assisting Michael Evans and Jason Topi with clients’ financial needs, and helping the practice run smoothly.
Makino (Kino) joined Baird along with the rest of the Evans & Topi Retirement Advisors in 2018. Kino comes from the higher education sector and Hamilton College, with over 20 years of experience in providing career counseling to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in the finance, insurance and consulting sectors. He previously worked in the corporate sector as a VP of Sales & Marketing (machinery) and as a Sales Consultant (insurance).
Kino is Series 7 and Series 66 registered, New York State life and health insurance licensed and holds a BA from Grinnell College in Economics and an MA in International Law & Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University. He is an active supporter of the Kirkland Art Center, the Oneida County Habitat for Humanity and the Joseph’s Experience camp for child survivors of cancer.
