Andy Hirsch

Senior Vice President

Andrew joined Baird in 1993 and has over 35 years of experience as a Financial Advisor. He and his team's areas of interest include: comprehensive financial planning; corporate retirment planning consisting of 401(k) and Non-Qualified plans; and Employee Stock Option and 10b5-1 plans.

Andrew works with individuals, family owned businesses and publicly traded compaies, guiding them to establish and achieve their investment goals. He sees his role as that of an overall Financial Advisor and strongly believes in understanding his clients’ financial needs in order to customize an investment strategy that is specifically tailored to each client’s goals.

Andrew earned his JD from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, his BA in history from Washington and Jefferson College and is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Tampa, sponsored by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce. He has served as Chairman for the City of Tampa's General Employee's Pension Fund. He has also a volunteered for the Great American Teach-In and is a former member of the Jesuit High School Finance Committee.

His favorite leisure time activities are spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf. Lifelong residents of Tampa, Andrew and his wife Tricia have two daughters, Lauren and Rachel and a Goldendoodle named Harvey Hirsch.

John Livingston, CFP®

Financial Advisor

John joined Baird's Tampa office in 2003, with more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry.

Specializing in customized life planning, John's area of expertise is managing risk concurrent with his clients' long term goals.

"My approach with all clients is one of true life planning," John says. "By properly overseeing a client's goals and risk tolerance, we can build a long term partnership based on mutual respect. Only then can we move together toward unique and specific solutions."

A graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in Government, John also attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and has obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

“I believe in the Baird doctrine that integrity is irreplaceable and plays a key role in helping achieve client satisfaction,” says John.

A lifelong resident of Tampa, John is an involved member of his community, including serving on the board for Achieve Tampa Bay as well as being a member of Tampa Downtown Daybreak Rotary.

When not serving his clients or volunteering his time, John enjoys traveling, reading, running, solving crossword puzzles and spending time with his wife, Jana, and their four children.

Mary Zavaglia

Senior Investment Consultant

Mary joined Baird’s Tampa office as a financial advisor in 1998 and has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Her areas of expertise include:

“My approach is to begin with the end in mind. The foundation of success begins with a plan. Once the clients’ Financial Plan has been established, we are then able to work toward developing the most appropriate investment strategy to help them achieve their long term goals and objectives.” Risk assessment is a key component in strategic planning and implementation. Our practice process is designed to review and monitor goals and objectives on an ongoing and systematic basis.

Mary attended the University of Maryland at Baltimore, and has also successfully completed the Investment Counsel Program sponsored by Baird at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Mary has lived in the Tampa area for over two decades, and enjoys outdoor activities in the Florida sunshine. In her free time she loves to spend time at the beach or out on the water. In the fall, Mary is also an avid fan of Sunday football.

Diana Currington

Client Assistant

Diana joined Baird October 1, 1991. She has worked with the Hirsch Group for over a decade and enjoys working with the team and clients. She is a native of Tampa, Florida. She enjoys the outdoors doing such things as boating, gardening, etc.
