My Profile
Larry joined Baird in 1991 as a Financial Advisor and has 22 years of experience in the investment business. Prior to that, he spent seven years as a television news reporter. Larry has spent his entire professional career working to understand complex situations and explain them in understandable terms. As a Financial Advisor, Larry helps people convert their financial goals and aspirations into a plan of action. His goal is to work with clients to help them cope with financial challenges that are often a byproduct of success. “I want to fulfill the same role as their doctor, lawyer, or accountant – someone they count on to handle a complicated aspect of their lives so they can sleep well at night and feel they are working with someone who understands their goals, cares about them, and knows what he’s doing,” Larry says.
Larry has a long and distinguished track record as a financial advisor. Early in his career, he was called “Milwaukee’s Top Broker” by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and was named one of the top 20 Financial Advisors in the U.S. by Registered Representative Magazine.
Larry is also actively involved in community life. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona, and is Vice President of the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership. He was campaign chairman of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation in 1996-97, and served as board chairman of Wisconsin Israel Bonds in 1998-99. In 2001, he was honored by the State of Israel and presented its Distinguished Leadership Award. Larry also served as major gifts chairman for the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and has been an active fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Larry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College in 1971. He has two children, Sarah, 24, and Sam, 21. He moved to Tucson in 2002.
