Lamar left his role a Vice President on the team to pursue his unique vision for private wealth management and that’s why he developed the DREAM Financial Planning Process ™. This process is the result of over 12 years of deliberate planning and provides an unbiased view of the considerations most important to you. A highly dynamic process, it’s designed to adapt as your needs evolve through the different stages of life.Conservative Approach
Lamar’s primary focus is to protect his clients in down markets while also allowing them to take advantage of the long term growth of the stock market. He realizes that clients want to spend time with family and relax and not feel the need to read the Wall street Journal or watch CNBC every day. Working with Lamar allows clients to focus on their own career or retirement and enjoy time with family. He also realizes that many people view finances as a complex issue and he takes great pride in educating clients and making complex financial issues easy to understand.Involved & Active
Lamar was born in Washington DC and is a lifelong resident of Virginia. Like many in the area he's a long suffering fan of all the Washington area sports teams, but especially the Washington Redskins. His love for the Redskins started when his Grandfather started taking him to Redskins games every year when he was 8 years old. In the past Lamar has given back to the community by volunteering to coach Basketball for the Chantilly Youth Association and Frederick County parks and recreation. A 12-year resident of Reston, Lamar enjoys spending his free time working out, cycling on the W&OD Trail, and traveling.
