After working in the investment industry for nearly 30 years, in April 2015, Paul transitioned from an employee of Baird in the role of Financial Advisor to serving as an Independent Consultant for The Stuard & Thornberry Group at Baird.
While Paul has transitioned investment management responsibility completely to Elaina Stuard and Jonathan Thornberry, he is available to assist our clients with a wide range of topics including: family dynamics and relationships; estate and retirement matters; educational and employment opportunities; philanthropic goals; residential options; geriatric issues; and various multi-generational interactions.
A graduate of Princeton University with a master’s degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, Paul is an active volunteer locally and nationally with a special interest in education. He has served on the boards of St. Xavier High School, The Seven Hills School, Hebrew Union College, Xavier University, Moravian College and Bethany College. A past Trustee of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Anthem Foundation, he is currently a member of the boards of the Peterloon Foundation, the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Shaker Village in Kentucky, Chatfield College and The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
Paul and his wife, Betsy, are residents of Cincinnati. They have four children and seven grandchildren.

Scott Grenier is Manager of Financial and Estate Planning for Baird’s Private Wealth Management group. In this role, he works with clients and their Baird financial advisors on business succession, tax and estate planning strategies, with a focus on tax-efficient wealth transfer opportunities. Prior to joining Baird in 2010, Scott provided financial planning solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families at Cleary Gull.
Scott graduated from Hamilton College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and earned a Master of Science in Financial Services Degree from The American College. He is an Accredited Estate Planner through the National Association of Estate Planning & Councils, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy through The American College, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional.
Scott served on the Board of the Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum. Currently he is a member of the Milwaukee Estate Planning Forum, the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Financial Planning Association of Southeastern Wisconsin.

Susie Bauer is the 529/UIT Manager for Baird, where she has worked in UIT marketing since 1997 and 529 plan marketing since 2000. Additionally, she is a trainer, and conducts e-learning sessions and educational presentations for Baird associates.
Since 2004, Susie has served as co-chair of the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association’s (SIFMA) 529 State Regulation & Legislation Committee. Prior to joining Baird in 1997, she was the Artistic Director and Administrative Director of Educational Programming for Bauer Contemporary Ballet, Inc.
Susie earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a master of arts degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.
Chief Investment Strategist
Bruce joined Baird in 2002 and provides stock market analysis to Baird's retail, institutional and corporate clients. He is also a member of Baird's Investment Policy and Stock Selection committees. Bruce began his investment career as head trader at the options trading firm of Thomas, Haab and Botts in New York City, where he served for nine years. In 1974, Bruce joined J.C. Bradford & Company to establish and head their options department. In 1985, he joined Bradford's research department, where he was partner in charge of market strategy until the company was acquired by Paine Webber in 2000. He received both his Bachelor of Science degree in business and MBA in economics and finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
William A. Delwiche, CMT, CFA
William Delwiche is Baird’s Investment Strategist and is a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Before joining Baird in 1999, he worked as a researcher at the Committee for Economic Development, a Washington, D.C., pro-business think tank. Since 2004, Willie has also been the co-manager of Baird's ETF-based ALIGN Tactical Portfolios.
Willie received a BA in Economics and in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, and an MA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a member of the Market Technicians Association and past member of the American Economics Association. Willie is both a Chartered Market Technician and a CFA Charter holder.
Commentary from Willie on the economy and stock markets has been featured in national, regional and trade media such as BARRON’S and Bloomberg BusinessWeek. He has appeared on Fox Business, the Nightly Business Report, and the MoneyLife show. Willie also regularly shares his perspectives via Twitter (@WillieDelwiche) and other social media outlets.
Laura Thurow, CFA
Director of Wealth Solutions and Operations
Laura Thurow is Director of Wealth Solutions and Operations for Baird’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) business. In this role, she is responsible for the people, platforms and back office services that support Baird’s financial advisors in all aspects of their wealth management practices.
As part of the PWM Leadership Team, she is also involved in various strategic initiatives in support of Baird’s overall wealth management platform. Additionally, Laura serves as a member of Baird’s Executive Committee.
Laura received a bachelor of arts degree in Economics from Trinity College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She has earned the CFA charter and is a member of the CFA Society of Milwaukee.
