Paul joined Baird in 2002 and has been working with individual clients, families, and multi-generation families since 1986.  Paul serves as the Senior Relationship Coordinator for the team. He focuses his attention on far-ranging aspects of financial planning and family office services, including, but not limited to: educational planning for family members; retirement; estate; and philanthropic activities.

A graduate of Princeton University with a master’s degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, Paul is an active volunteer locally and nationally with a special interest in educational institutions.  He has served on the boards of St. Xavier High School, The Seven Hills School, Hebrew Union College, Xavier University, and Bethany College.  A past Trustee of the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Anthem Foundation, he is currently a member of the Peterloon Foundation board, Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Shakertown in Kentucky, Chatfield College and the Board of Trustees for Hamilton County Public Libraries. Paul and his wife, Betsy, are residents of Cincinnati. They have four children and two grandchildren.

Elaina also came to Baird in 2002, and has worked in the financial services industry since 1987. Her experience includes fixed income trading and research for a large money market fund.  She also was part of an investment advisory firm's stock selection committee prior to partnering with Paul in 1998.  Presently, her focus is on investment strategy, stock research, and portfolio management. She chairs the team’s investment committee, which guides the investment management research and implementation process. Additionally, Elaina has expertise in the development of financial planning solutions for families with special needs.

Elaina earned her Master of Business Administration from Xavier University after graduating from Boston University with a degree in economics.  Elaina serves on the Finance Committee of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati and is a member of Toastmasters and the Norwood Business & Professional Women. She and her husband, Jim, reside in Blue Ash with their two children.

Vice President / Financial & Estate Planning Specialist

Jonathan joined Baird in 2003 with a strong background in the investment industry having most recently worked with a financial planning firm in Chicago.  As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Jonathan primarily focuses on assisting clients in the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and estate planning strategies. Additionally, Jonathan’s knowledge of insurance and annuity strategies is a valuable resource for clients as they transition from the asset accumulation phase into income distribution and wealth transfer.

A graduate of Centre College, Jonathan is also a current member of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Cincinnati.  In addition to earning the CFP^® certification, he has completed the Accredited Wealth Management Advisor^SM (AWMA^®)program with the College of Financial Planning.

Jonathan serves as the Past-President of the Board of Trustees for the Council on Child Abuse of Southern Ohio.  He currently lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife, Dawn, and their two children.
