Who We Are

As members of Baird's Private Wealth Management Group, The Hodge Williams Schott Group specializes in providing high-end advisory services, financial planning and investment consulting solutions for both individual and institutional clients. Our group has over 65 years of combined experience in Financial Services. Our mission is to operate a comprehensive financial advisory practice, with a highly qualified team, in order to provide the most professional, reliable and consistent financial advice to our clients.

Our investment philosophy focuses on two fundamental needs of our clients, the desire to create and preserve wealth with an emphasis on long-term investing. Our focus on wealth creation and preservation affords us the opportunity to help manage not only investment performance but also investment risk.

James Alan Hodge

James A. Hodge joined Baird in 1996 and serves as a Director and Madison Branch Manager. Jim provides financial consultation to individuals, corporations, and non-profit organizations. A Wisconsin native, Hodge graduated from Arizona State with a degree in agri-business. Jim is currently a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, and he successfully completed Baird’s Investment Consultants Program hosted at the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business. Jim was a recipient of the Forbes 2019, 2020 and 2021 Best In State Wealth Advisor.

Mr. Hodge is active in the community, serving on the Cargill United Methodist Church Finance Committee and as a LaPrairie 4-H project leader. Jim volunteers with the Janesville Performing Arts Center, Junior Achievement, School District of Janesville Elevate Academic/Mentorship Program, and the American Heart Association. Hodge was selected to be a member of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau 2012 Leadership Class VI. Jim and his wife, Sarah (along with their three children) are 5th generation farmers in Janesville, Wisconsin. He was featured in Corporate Report Wisconsin for his experience with investments and passion for farming.

Stacy P. Williams is a Senior Vice President and Senior Investment Consultant with the Hodge Williams Group at Baird. She provides comprehensive investment consulting to successful families, endowments, and corporations. Prior to joining Baird's Private Wealth Management group, Ms. Williams held the position of Associate Equity Research Analyst in Baird's Institutional Petroleum Research Group from 2000 to 2005.

Ms. Williams holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison; a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster, Ohio; and successfully completed Baird’s Investment Consultants Program hosted at the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business. She was recently recognized by FORBES as one of America’s Top Women Advisors for 2020, in addition to being named a “Forty Under 40” by the Milwaukee Business Journal in 2010 and being awarded the Baird G. Frederick Kasten award in 2007 for Client Service Excellence. Ms. Williams is also regularly invited to attend the prestigious “Top Women Advisors Summit" hosted by Barron’s.

Ms. Williams is a long-time volunteer for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County, where she serves as a Director on the Board and co-chair for the 2021 United Way Campaign. She is also a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council, a co-founder of the United Way Emerging Leaders Council, and active volunteer with the Emerging Readers program. Stacy is also active in the Arts community as an Honorary Trustee with the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, a member of the Bridge Committee at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, and the Marcus Center for Performing Arts – “50 Women of the Arts." She enjoys living in Fox Point with her husband (Blair), two children (Rowan & Rex), and variety of beloved family pets.

Greg who is a Senior Vice President has been working with individuals, not-for-profit institutions, religious and lay pensions, gift annuities, foundations and endowments since he joined Baird in 1997. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Greg holds the Investment Management Consultants Association financial designations CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst®) and CPWA® (Certified Private Wealth Advisor®).

Greg was the recipient of Baird’s 2011 Rupple Citizenship Award honoring his extraordinary service to the community. He serves on the Board of the Schott Center for Persons who are Deaf or Disabled, the Board of National Catholic Office for the Deaf and the Board of the National Catholic Partnership on Disability. Greg has served on the Board of the National Catholic Office for Persons with Mental Retardation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation Presidents Council for Collier County. He has traveled with Catholic Relief Services in Africa and advocates Autism awareness. Greg serves as the Director for the FBI Miami Citizen's Academy Alumni Association.

Investment Management Consultants Association® (IMCA®) is the owner of the certification marks “CIMA®”, “CPWA®,” “Certified Investment Management Analyst®,” and “Certified Private Wealth Advisor®." Use signifies that the user has successfully completed IMCA’s initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for certification.

Christine Bunchkowski, CFP

Client Specialist

Christine joined The Hodge Williams Group at the end of 2017 with 12 years of experience in the investment and banking industries; having formerly worked at Waukesha State Bank and Northwestern Mutual. She is FINRA Series 6, 7 and 66 licensed. Christine has also expanded her expertise by becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, which she obtained in July 2019. Christine brings great experience in building and maintaining client relationships, along with a broad understanding of behind the scenes investment operations.

She graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish for the Health and Business Professions. Her fluency in Spanish is greatly owed to her studies in Puebla, Mexico where she attended UDLA for a semester abroad.

Christine is active in her community both as a lifetime member of Sigma Delta Pi, a national Hispanic honor society, and as a mentor for first-generation college students at Marquette University. She also enjoys spending time golfing, bowling, hiking and practicing yoga. Christine and her fiancé, James, currently reside in New Berlin, WI.

Shea McCreight

Client Specialist

Shea joined The Hodge Williams Investment Group in early 2018 after spending 17 years at The BonTon Stores, Inc. in the corporate office; serving her last stint with the firm as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO. Shea is FINRA Series 7 and 66 licensed. She is committed to providing the highest level of service to our clients.

Shea spends her free time going to her children’s sporting activities and she herself likes running, biking and other outdoor activities. She enjoys living in the Village of Bayside with her husband and 3 children.
