Andrew Ladd, CFP®
Andrew Ladd is a Director in Baird's Private Wealth Management office in Dallas. Prior to joining Baird in 2014, Andy was a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly A. G. Edwards) since 2003. He joined his father, Ed, in 2007 and The Ladd Group was formed. Andy has developed his practice by focusing on the investment needs of business professionals, families, nonprofit organizations and small business retirement plans. His areas of expertise include portfolio design, investment management, insurance analysis, retirement planning and estate planning.
Andy obtained his Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas in Austin and subsequently concentrated his studies in all areas of portfolio management, investment planning, and estate planning. Andy holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner credential along with a designation as an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS). He has his Series 7 and 66 registrations along with a General Lines, Life, Accident, Health and HMO insurance license.
Andy also has experience working in the nonprofit sector and has helped organizations with their charitable giving efforts, development coordination, donor relations, and endowment investment planning. Andy has been on the Board of the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas and involved with Big Brother Big Sisters, Meals on Wheels, and Scottish Rite Hospital. He currently serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Dallas YMCA and advises on their endowment and the organization’s community involvement.
Outside of spending time with his family, Andy enjoys golf, travel, Longhorn sports and running. Andy and his wife Jenilee live in University Park in Dallas with their daughter Margot, son Harrison and identical twin boys, Penn and Cooper .

With 21 years of experience in financial services, Jayson has achieved success of note managing more than $300mm in client assets for a limited number of families with his partner Andy Ladd. In 2009, Jayson started his own advisory firm, Clermont Capital, where he maintained a partnership with Spectrum Financial Group. In 2011, Jayson was named Spectrum’s Advisor of the Year and more than five times has been named a distinguished financial advisor by Five Star Wealth in Texas Monthly magazine.
With a degree in journalism, Jayson also is a published author with contributions to various newspapers, magazines, and blogs across Texas on everything from politics to baseball to music to finance. Jayson has interviewed a variety of individuals such as George W. Bush, Earl Campbell, Ann Richards and Oliver North. Jayson is also a published songwriter and musician, with six recorded Americana rock music albums, charted songs on the radio, and performances across the United States
Community InvolvementWhen he’s not helping his clients, Jayson is involved with family and his community. Jayson has raised money and contributed time to various community programs including the Costa Rica Methodist Children’s Home, The Roots Network in Rwanda, Africa, Dallas Music Partners, Dads Club President at Armstrong Elementary School in Highland Park, and the board of trustees for Visible Music College in Memphis, TN. Jayson has led and been on more than 20 international mission trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, Burundi, and Rwanda, Africa. Jayson’s greatest role is that of husband and father with his wife Amy, and their three boys, Silas, Bennett, and Henry. His hobbies include music, baseball, soccer, reading, running and music.
Senior Client Specialist
Ashley joined Baird in 2014 and has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. In her role as a Senior Client Specialist for The Ladd Bales Group, she implements custom investment models, assists with financial planning, oversees account administration, and provides technology support along with other Client Service items.
Prior to joining Baird, Ashley spent ten years as a Senior Client Assistant and Officer with Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly A. G. Edwards), and two years as an Equity Trading Administrator with NFJ Investment Group. Committed to building her knowledge of the industry, Ashley has earned the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as a General Lines, Life, Accident, Health and HMO insurance license. Ashley is also a past member, and Chairperson, of Baird’s Registered Assistant Advisory Council (RAAC). As a member of this council, Ashley served as a communication liaison for all client specialists to advocate change, best practices, and professional development throughout the firm.
Ashley and her husband Jess live in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas with their son, Liam, where she is a member of the Lake Highlands Junior High PTA as well as a volunteer instructor for Junior Achievement USA. Along with spending time with her family, Ashley enjoys traveling, New Orleans Saints football and attempting to tap dance.
Senior Client Specialist
Jennifer joined Baird in 2013 as a Registered Client Relationship Associate and has over 25 years of experience in the industry. Jennifer is responsible for client services, business development support & marketing functions including any operational functions necessary to meet client service requirements. Shortly after beginning with Baird, Jennifer was tapped as a leader, being named the Training and Communication Liaison for Baird’s Dallas Operations.
After graduating from Central Texas Commercial College in 1991, Jennifer began her career in the financial services and securities industry in 1992 with Dean Witter. Through the years, Jennifer has gained extensive knowledge working in departments such as operations, syndicate and equity sales and trading. During her tenure at Southwest Securities, she was promoted to Equity Sales Admin Supervisor and maintained this title until acquired by Sterne Agee. Additionally, Jennifer has earned the FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 registrations.
Jennifer and her husband Chad live in Heath, TX. They have one daughter, Haleigh, who graduated from the University of North Texas in 2015 with a degree in Integrative Studies. Every year, Jennifer and her husband make it a point to donate to several charities, specifically those who cater to special needs individuals. These individuals hold a special place in Jennifer’s heart as she has a sister who was born with special needs. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys watching true crime shows and spending time with her family.
