Community Involvement

Our team is supportive of many different causes in the Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest. We feel blessed by our careers, families and friends and are thankful for the opportunity to support many non-profit organizations in our community.

Camp Korey
Camp Korey’s mission is to honor the courage, strength and determination of children living with serious illness. With specialized medical support, they help kids re-imagine the future. Camp Korey is a member of SeriousFun Children’s Network, founded by Paul Newman, serving thousands of children and families each year with week long summer camp sessions. Camp Korey, like all SeriousFun Camps, remains 100% free to all campers and families, relying on the generosity of the community for support.

Emergency Feeding Program
To provide a nutritional response to people in need of immediate food assistance by collaborating with partner agencies to ensure that no one will go hungry tonight.

Lopez Island Family Resource Center
The Lopez Island Family Resource Center provides resources and guidance necessary to meet the basic needs of the entire community. Building on this foundation of wellbeing, we also provide educational and community engagement programs and we advocate for a more just and equitable community.

Lopez Island Hospice
Lopez Island Hospice & Home Support, as a skilled volunteer organization, will provide hospice and home support services and resources to the Lopez Island community experiencing illness, injury, and/or loss.

Mary's Place
Mary's Place supports women and families in transition by providing safe shelter, medical care, food and job resources.

Northwest Harvest
The mission of Northwest Harvest is to lead the fight for hungry people statewide to have access to nutritious food while respecting their dignity and promoting good health.

Ronald McDonald House
Keeping families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need.

Seattle Children’s Hospital
Unified by a compelling mission: Providing hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.

2018 Special Olympics
Special Olympics is a global movement that transforms lives through the power and joy of sports every day around the world. Special Olympics empowers people with intellectual and physical disabilities to become accepted and valued members of their communities; which leads to a more respectful and inclusive society for all. Using sports as the catalyst and programming around health and education, Special Olympics is fighting inactivity, injustice and intolerance.

Toys for Tots
The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.

Baird Gives Back Week

About Baird Gives Back Week
Baird and its associates have a long-standing tradition of giving back to the communities we serve and we understand that contributing our personal time and resources is important to the vitality and strength of communities in which we live and work.

Held annually since 2009, Baird Gives Back Week provides associates with opportunities to give back to the communities we call home. This special week is an annual Baird sponsored firm wide effort to give back to the communities that Baird is privileged to work within. Baird participants throughout the country unite to organize events and drives to benefit local charities and organizations.
