Jeff Pedersen, CDFA®
Vice President, Financial Advisor
Jeff Pedersen has more than 30 years of experience managing the unique wealth management needs of his clients. His clients include small business owners, individuals and families. Jeff’s first priority is to meet the needs of his clients. Therefore, his first focus is meeting with the client to listen and understand their needs and goals. Jeff then focuses on providing the client with a plan that assists them in meeting and/or exceeding those goals. He takes a particular interest in managing risk to avoid unnecessary volatility in each client’s portfolio over both the short and long term.
Jeff has a strong interest in giving back to the community. He has served as board president of the Better Business Bureau, Mary Elizabeth Daycare and Siouxland Christian School. Jeff is also very involved in his church volunteering with the youth, teaching divorce care and has also traveled to Haiti on a mission trip. Jeff is also actively participating in 100 Men Who Care and volunteers each year with other Siouxland United Way Agencies.
Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree from Westmar University in LeMars, IA and an MBA from the University of South Dakota. Jeff has also earned his Certification as a Certified Divorce Financial Advisor (CDFA).
Jeff and his wife Laura live in Sioux City, IA. They have three married children and 6 grandchildren. Jeff enjoys time he can spend with his family as well as various outdoor activities including snow skiing, landscaping, and small construction projects.
Thomas has joined Baird’s Sioux City branch, and will assist in contributing to their many years of experience. Thomas’ goal is to provide the best financial advice and service to clients by focusing on their unique goals with respect to their values and risk tolerance. His tailored approach, ongoing advice, and due diligence helps each client simplify their financial life, and provides them with a peace of mind.
Thomas is a continuous learner, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Construction Management from Dordt University, followed by his MBA from Northwest Missouri State University. Thomas also has a certification in Six Sigma Process Improvement.
Thomas currently resides in Sergeant Bluff, IA with his wife Amanda and their dog Finn. He is an active volunteer at his church, enjoying time spent with their technology and production team. In his free time, Thomas enjoys being outdoors hiking, camping, fishing and playing basketball.
Stephanie Chapman has over 39 years of experience in the financial industry, including more than 3 decades with her current team. Steph values the relationships she has established with clients over the years and continually strives to provide the highest level of service to our clients. Steph is responsible for all business initiatives, comprehensive analysis, service & administrative needs of their clients for their team. Carrying the unofficial title of “Awesome Client Relationship Assistant” she coordinates everything for her team – from scheduling events to planning and motivating the team towards its goals.
Steph and her husband Randy have five children, two grandchildren and live in Sioux City. In her free time she loves spending time with their kids & grand kids. She enjoys traveling, spending time at the lake, gardening and searching for antique jewelry.
Steph and her family believe strongly about giving back in the community supporting MercyOne Child Advocacy Center, Lila Mae’s House, Boys & Girls Clubs of Siouxland, United Way of Siouxland, Miracle League of Sioux City, Hospice of Siouxland, Camp High Hopes and a member of the 100+ Women Who Care: Siouxland Chapter.
