We review your portfolio regularly and we adjust when necessary, providing you with updates on your portfolio’s performance. We schedule time for in-person visits and are always available to chat.

Kevin Phillips

Private Wealth Management

Kevin credits his father's interest in the markets for inspiring him as a teenager to take his summer earnings to a local investment broker. He followed the advice he received into his life's pursuit. Years later, Kevin was comforted by the industry's evolution from stock transactions into investment planning because it matched his holistic investment philosophy.

In addition to being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Kevin has the Series 7, Series 8, 63 and 65 registrations. He holds licenses for long-term care and disability insurance, life insurance, and fixed and variable annuities.

Kevin earned bachelor's degrees in Finance and Insurance from the John A. Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University, named among Best Business Schools by the Princeton Review. Prior to joining Baird Kevin’s investment career included nearly two decades with A.G. Edwards & Sons, and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Kevin is an avid cyclist, and also enjoys volunteering at his church, hiking, hunting and camping. Each year, he rides 200 miles to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Kevin lives in Mooresville with his wife, Susie and their two children.

Amy Wyatt

Assistant Vice President, Senior Client Specialist

With two decades of investment industry experience, Amy specializes in overseeing operations, communications and service on behalf of the team. Experience has taught her that accessibility, good listening skills and attention to detail are the foundations to providing the kind of exceptional service The Phillips Group offers their clients. Amy enjoys the relationships she cultivates with clients and is often the initial "go to" person as daily service needs arise.

Amy holds the FINRA Series 66 and 7 General Securities registrations, as well as Series 9 and 10 Supervisory registrations. She also holds licenses for life insurance and fixed and variable annuities. A graduate of Appalachian State University, before joining Baird Amy gained a wealth of experience in both operations and servicing client accounts at AG Edwards & Sons and Wells Fargo Advisors.

During her free time, Amy enjoys hiking, reading and serving as a children’s leader and on mission trips through her church. Having lived in Indiana and Michigan, Amy returned home to North Carolina where she resides in Ronda with her husband, Charles.
