Steve, a native of Easton, Maryland, dedicates his time to assisting his clients with comprehensive wealth advice and planning. A graduate of Easton High School and 1991 Graduate of Hampden Sydney College, he holds a B.A. in History and Spanish. Prior to joining Baird in May 2009, Steve began his career in 1992 at Legg Mason in Baltimore, MD, first as an options trader and later as a Director of Retail Equity Trading, overseeing all trades for Legg Mason’s money managers. In 1996 Steve moved back to Easton to begin a career in wealth management for private clients. He is Series 4, 7, 63, and 65 registered and is licensed in life, health and long term care insurance. Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of UM Shore Regional Health and the St Johns Foundation. He also is a member of the Finance and Investment Committee of UM Shore Regional Health. He is a past Board Member of the Dave Haslup/Lou Gehrig ASF, United Fund of Talbot County, Pickering Creek Audubon Center, Talbot Country Club and past member of Easton Rotary Club. Steve has also been very active in local youth sports organizations as a past coach for Easton Little League and Talbot Pop Warner, as well as helping to raise funds for Easton High School’s Support Our Sports organization. Steve lives in Easton with his two sons, Mason and Jake.

Jim is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional; he is dedicated to the financial future of his clients and is interested in building strong lifelong relationships through a conservative approach to investing by creating financial plans that seek to attain client goals while mitigating risk. Prior to joining Baird in 2012, Jim was a Senior Vice President at Wye Financial and Trust for over 10 years and began his career with Legg Mason and Charles Schwab after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Jim is Treasurer of board of Building African American Minds as well as Broadneck Area Youth Sports. He also serves on the boards of Channel Marker Foundation, Chesapeake College Foundation and United Fund of Talbot County. In addition to serving on various boards he serves on the finance committee for Critchlow Adkins Children’s Center and Mid-Shore Community Foundation. Jim has also been active in coaching his son’s youth basketball teams. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, boating and spending time with his two children, Molly and Jay.

Cheryl offers a wide-range of financial planning and wealth management advice for her clients. She joined The Satchell Group as a Financial Advisor in 2001 and is Series 7 and 66 registered as well as licensed in life, health and long term care insurance. Prior to joining the Satchell Group, Cheryl was a Vice-President and Operations manager for Ryland Mortgage Company, responsible for the issuance of mortgage-backed securities; and Financial Specialist for PacifiCorp Capital, Inc., responsible for selling equity and debt positions in the company’s computer leasing transactions. She has been a resident of Easton, MD since 1997, and holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University. Cheryl has served as Treasurer for the Parent School Association of Sts. Peter and Paul School and is currently serving as Treasurer on the SSPP High School Executive Board. She lives in Easton with her husband James W. Palumbo, MD and their two daughters, Sydney and Delaney.
Darin, a native of the Eastern Shore, graduated from Easton High school and holds a B.A. in business from Washington College. Darin began his career in financial services with Legg Mason in 1998 and joined The Satchell Group in 2009. He provides wealth management to private clients and is Series 7, 66, 9 and 10 licensed and is registered for life, health, and long term care insurance. He is an active Talbot Lacrosse Board Member and a coach for the Talbot Youth Lacrosse and Basket Ball League. Darin and his wife Mickee live in Easton with their two daughters, Ellie and Anna.
David Adams, QPFC
David, a native of the Eastern Shore of Maryland, graduated from the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University with a B.S. in Finance, concentration in Financial Planning. Upon graduation he accepted a position with The SRVP Group and is Series 7 and 66 registered and is licensed in Life, Health and Long Term Care insurance. David specializes in 401(k) and small business retirement plan management. He helps employers offer the best plan possible through plan design enhancements, cost/benefit analysis, investment option review, and reduction of overall fiduciary liability. David also provides on-site, one-on-one financial education and in-depth financial planning to employees and executives. Additionally, David helps individual clients understand and achieve their retirement goals and will go the extra mile to provide the service they desire. This approach typically involves an advisory platform with strong emphasis on asset allocation and ongoing reviews of each client’s portfolio. He is currently the Vice President of Chapel District Sports, donates time to many local charities and is a past Chairman of the Waterfowl Festival World Championship Calling Contests. David and his wife Amber reside in Cordova with their children, Emily, Michael and Megan.
Elizabeth M. (Libby) Sherbert

A graduate of South River High School, in Edgewater MD, Libby began her career with Legg Mason in 1995 and joined The Satchell Group in 1998. Libby manages the client services for The Satchell Group, overseeing the daily client requests, tax-related issues, and general accounting maintenance. She is Series 7 and 66 registered. She is currently involved with several Queen Anne’s county youth sports leagues. Libby lives in Centreville with her husband Eddie and two sons, Luke and Mitchell.
