SECURE Act Explained

The SECURE Act was passed in late 2019 by Congress and included a number of changes to our retirement savings laws.

While there are a few positives retirement savers can take advantage of with the passing of the SECURE Act, there are some negative ramifications some might feel, depending on their situation, including the loss of the RMD stretch for most non-spousal beneficiaries.

Linda Grant-Smith, Baird Regional Financial Planner, and Scott Grenier, Manager of Baird’s Financial and Estate Planning team, will cover the significant changes brought about in the new law and how those changes might impact your financial plan.
