Tyson Smith

Tyson Smith provides investment services to business owners, professionals, high-income retirees and their families. Tyson’s consistent follow-up with his clients on their investments, market risk, and unique diversification opportunities lead him to become one of Baird’s highly decorated advisors.  From his office in downtown Orlando, Tyson provides investment advice and services to clients across the country.

Before joining Baird, Tyson spent 9 years in Military Intelligence serving in the Air National Guard. During that time he co-founded, grew, and successfully sold two profitable corporations.  Tyson earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and graduated from Baird’s University of Chicago-based Investment Consultant Program.

Tyson and his team are active members of various community service organizations, including Rotary International, Central Florida March of Dimes and the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. Tyson lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife Melanie and their two children. Tyson coaches youth basketball and soccer. On occasion Tyson enjoys playing golf with his clients and friends.
